CBT for ADHD
Living with ADHD can have benefits such as being able to think creativity, being naturally curious about the world around you and thriving in novel situations. However, it can also have have its challenges such as executive dysfunction making it harder to manage thoughts, emotions and actions. Additionally, having ADHD increases the likelihood of developing co morbid depression and anxiety. Whilst medication currently is the recommended first line treatment to manage the symptoms of the condition, some people do not fully respond or cannot tolerate the side effect of medication.
CBT for ADHD specifically aims to improve these challenges to enable you to live the life you want to live.
